Mars & Mercury are officially direct! The two planets have been maintaining a rather uncomfortable quincunx aspect since Mercury stationed Retrograde in December - forcing us to slow down & prioritize our varied responsibilities. I have a soft spot for quincunx aspects - the energy is similar to Virgo & Scorpio - they help us make adjustments and eliminations. When planets are in a quincunx relationship to one another (that is a 150º angle,) they are operating from two completely different perspectives - they have nothing in common, they're speaking different languages.
Imagine the archetype of Gemini - then imagine the archetype of Capricorn - how many similarities do you see? I'd guess very little.
But Virgo & Scorpio are the nurses and doctors of the Zodiac, so the quincunx aspect is, in my humble opinion, the medicinal angle.Â
Since Mars moves slower than Mercury, the current quincunx aspect between the two is similar in nature to Scorpio (because Mercury is 8 signs ahead of Mars.)
This means Mercury has been carefully surveying the multiple directions of Mars and, like a surgeon, removing all the inherited, outworn ideas that perhaps we have felt indebted to, so we can prioritize and focus on the ideas that will fuel our success, and the connections that are *actually* mutually beneficial.

For me, personally, I've been acknowledging and making peace with my untraditional and unusual goals with my work - I want to study planets, plants, patterns, and express it through the senses - I want to curate boxes and experiences that broaden smiles & minds. And I want to stop sacrificing my vision so it will fit neatly into the minds of people who don't and refuse to understand me. My work isn't for everyone. I physically cannot make it for everyone - because whenever I have tried to be, everything in my life suffers. If I cannot create from my heart, then what is even the point?
